  1. Muay Thai !!!

As other answerers have said muay thai in NHB form include elbow, knee strikes and head butting :)***

  2. muay thai is a type of kickboxing

  3. muay thai because its a type of kickboxing yet they can use elbows and knees aswell x

  4. the muay thai fighter because kickboxing usually does not include knees or elbows, but then again it all depends on who is more conditioned and what are the rules.

  5. Wow, I guess it would kind of depend on the rules, and of course, if there are any rules.

I think the fight would go to whoever wants it more, I have met many kickboxers with great strikes, including elbows and knees.  I have one friend who is an instructor for the Dutch Army and European Kickboxing champion, he throws kicks and leather very well.  I have also met many skilled MT folks.

I have worked with MT fighters, some of what they do is similar to what we do in Krav Maga in terms of punching, kicking and elbows.  They are fun to play MT with in the octagon, but there are real limits that are artist dependent, as I am short and light, I constantly attack and I like to come straight in or at 45 degree angles.

I don't think it has as much to do with the art as it does the with the artists in question.  Fights usually go to whoever wants it more unless there is a gross disparity of skill.

  6. If it is 2 fighters of equal skill, size and experience, then the muay thai fighter.

The reason is: kickboxing is a watered down version of muay thai, it doesn't allow knees, elbows, or clinching. Less weapons equals less changes to win.

  7. Muay Thai fighter

  8. all things being equal the muay thai fighter, easily.
