Mavic 317 or Sun UFO Rims ?

I need to buy new Rims for my bike GT 1.0

My options are (at the same price)

1. Mavic 317 (v brake)

2. Sun UFO (v brake)

Can anyone recommend me which one of them is better for XC and mountains ?

I've always like Mavic's.

They've made great wheels for years.  And they are always on the cutting edge of technology.
