In what year was China's the last Emperor installed?

Again this is not an easy question and you can't find the answer that easily. Perhaps, you would like to do a search in Encyclopedia Wikipedia, Encyclopedia Britannica, or any other source. This question is open to everyone who regularly

To answer this question, you would need to read Chinese, as the answer is not published in English or any other major world language.

  1. Aidant has it correct.

  2. The Chongzhen Emperor (February 6, 1611 - April 25, 1644) was the 16th and last emperor of the Ming dynasty and last Han Emperor in China between 1627 and 1644. He succeeded his brother to the throne at the age of 17 and his reign period was between 2 October 1627–25 April 1644.

  3. Well, technically he was a Manchu Emperor, not Han. He was properly 'installed' in in 1908 and was overthrown in 1911. The Japanese 're-installed' him in 1932 as the ruler of Manchukuo but he wasn't in charge at all because it was part of the Japanese Empire at the time. He was also 're-installed' in 1917 for a twelve days between 1-12 July but again, it didn't really mean anything and the public were quite against it. Why though? You seem to want to test us and it doesn't really matter because the Chinese monarchy was overthrown fair and square in 1911, they were reluctant to move with the times and lost too many wars.
