Isnt it about time newspapers were regulated abit more. They sell lies in newspapers week after week. Why should the public need to know about max mosley private issues. Hes not a public figure i.e. politician, he doesnt get any public money etc.

To tell the truth i dont really want to know if someone wants be whiped till they bleed.

Some prick from the sun on ITV news said that 'We (newspaper) werent invading his privacy, more like max was invading the publics' How exactly is this??

They slandered John Leslie, who turned out to be innocent, they slandered madeline mccans parents, who are innocent, how much more do the public have to take of this c**p.

  1. At least "The Screws of The World" got screwed for a change !

  2. not me! false media is rife its about time something was done about it!

  3. he does because he took them to court

, madeline macanns parents have never been proved innocent in a court of law so untill that happens i will always wonder wont you ?

  4. You were winning your argument until you mentioned John Lesley (a serial s*x pest) and the McCanns. We blame the press yet we still pay money to read the c**p inside. Who is to blame ?  I think the gossip hungry public are as much to blame as the lazy media.

  5. the easiet thing to do is buy "The Independent".

That has issues and articles that are no way related to what the "Celebrity Press" newspapers print.

I quite fankly didn't care about his orgy parties. I am quite happy being ignorantly unaware of celebrities and the like, and I will continue to do so until the day I die

  6. it doesnt matter who he is. max moseley is entitled to his privacy. he has done nothing wrong. his private life is his business and no one elses. unfortunately there are people such as anne s and shady who believe what they read in these disgusting lying newspapers  and the persons concerned are slagged off forever without a shred of genuine evidence

it must have taken a lot of courage for max mosely to sue the news of the world but he was right to do it. if these papers cant back up their lies they shouldnt print them

  7. You seem worryingly confident of the innocence of people like John Leslie or the Mcanns. Now i know we must agree with court options on them, but a free press gives us a chance of a second opinion on them.

In the case of Mr Mosley (I'm a huge F1 Fan by the way) the people such as Royalty and heads of business would take a very dim view if the n**i elements had been found to been true.

These facts can only be tested in court if the are investigated by the press first.

  8. I agree entirely. Even if he did have a n**i s*x orgy with five prostitutes, which is looking increasingly unlikely, the guy still has the right to do it in his private life. If he was a politician who stood in the public eye preaching family values, then the press would be justified in exposing him as some sort of hypocrite. But he's not, so as it stands, the scumbag tabloids are just feeding off salacious gossip to fill pages and shift copies. That's all it's about, forget any notion that they're on any kind of moral crusade. I should know - I'm a journalist and it's the f**king dodgiest profession going.
