Max Muggeridge captures 100m breast-stroke meet - Australia State Teams Age Group SC Championships
Day three of the 2011 Australia State Teams Age Group Short Course Championships ended with the scintillating splash of Max Muggeridge in Canberra, Australia, on Monday, September 19. The final session of the meet conducted the Boys 14-15 years old 100m
breast-stroke race.
In the corresponding race, Max Muggeridge of QLD powered the wall with a fastest mark of 1 minute and 03.89 seconds and secured golden crown on the podium. Meanwhile, Rory Franks of WA secured silver medal on the podium by posting a scintillating time of
1 minute and 04.45 seconds.
Jake Baggaley of NSW earned bronze medal by submitting an impressive time of 1 minute and 05.61 seconds. After the swim, Baggaley was pleased with his versatile performance in the competition.
In the corresponding meet, Ad Vanderzant of QLD was placed fourth with a unique time of 1 minute and 05.75 seconds, while Liam Rayfield of QLD earned fifth place honours with an impressive mark of 1 minute and 06.85 seconds. Meanwhile, Jack Collins of VIC
was placed sixth in a time of 1 minute and 07.66 seconds, whereas, William Rollo of WA earned seventh place honours in a time of 1 minute and 08.15 seconds.
In addition, Lachlan Wells of VIC earned eighth place honours in a time of 1 minute and 08.36 seconds, while Lach Colquhoun of NSW settled ninth in a time of 1 minute and 08.64 seconds. Moreover, William Duncan of SA earned tenth spot in 1 minute and 09.02
seconds, whereas, Nic Groenewald of VIC was placed eleventh in a time of 1 minute and 09.55 seconds.
Christo Deegan of SA finished twelfth in 1 minute and 10.22 seconds, while Lungershausen of SA was placed thirteenth in a time of 1 minute and 11.19 seconds. Tim Belstead of TAS was placed fourteenth in a time of 1 minute and 11.48 seconds.
All the swimmers took a huge ovation from the crowd due to their scintillating swims, and the winners were awarded medals and accolades after the session’s completion.
