Name all of the major dynasties (families) ruling China since 1700 BC?

This question is hard and there is much debate even in China, among scholars, as to which dynasties were the major ruling dynasties. I do not expect anyone to get the correct answer. Are there any Harvard or Yale University scholars here, in this forum, wanting to take a stab at this question? Care to prove that you are a better China scholar than myself? How about the top 10 posters in this Society & Culture > Royalty forum.
