Catania President, Antonio Pulvirenti, has confirmed that striker, Maxi Lopez, is free to talk to other clubs after A.C Milan have backed-off a move.
The Rossazzurri had a pre-contract agreement with Milan to sell the striker in the January transfer window. However, the Italian Champions have now become interested in signing Manchester City star, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez. Pulvirenti confirmed
that the deal with Milan has expired, and the striker can talk to other clubs. The President revealed that they have received many offers from other clubs, and they will look into them now.
While talking to the reporters, Pulvirenti said, “There was an agreement with Milan, but that has now expired and so we are now free to look elsewhere. You must understand that anything can happen now. We will not wait until the
final day though, Maxi has offers from other clubs.”
It is believed that Palermo are making a surprise move for the Argentine. Several foreign clubs are also interested in signing the former Barcelona striker.
