Maxi Rodriguez superb hat-trick helps Liverpool to beat Fulham 5-2 at Craven Cottage
Liverpool cruised to a convincing 5-0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage, which has put them back on the fifth spot in the English Premier League standings ahead of Tottenham Hotspur. The star of the night was the Argentinean international, Maxi Rodriguez,
scoring a belligerent hat-trick to put Chelsea right on the track for their Europa League contention.
Liverpool took a flying start by scoring three goals in the first fifteen minutes of the match with Maxi chipping in the 1st and 6th minute goals while Kuyt’s 15th minute strike completely turned the match in Liverpool’s
favour.
Liverpool seems to have found a right combination in the shape of Maxi and Kuyt since both did brilliantly well for the Reds in their last few matches.

Fulham struggled to stop the firepower and onslaught by Liverpool’s forwards as they provided the Reds with many easy opportunities to score.
Steve Sidwell provided Fulham with the second goal in the 86th minute, but it was too late for them to bounce back.
The match was played at an intensified pace with both teams sometimes trying to control the match by showing their physical dominance.
