Maxie Rosenbloom stepped inside the ring 299 times and only won by ko 19 times.  He was the consumate defensive fighter that often hit his opponents with open hands thus the nickname of "Slapsie Maxie"  He beat such notqable fighters as Jimmy Slattery, James Braddock, John Henry Lewis, and Mickey Walker in his career in which he won 210 fights.  Joey Maxim was also a light hitting light heavyweight with 21 ko's in his 115 career fights.  He too was an outstanding boxer and clever fighter.  Joey beat such notable fighters as Floyd Patterson (early in his career) Jersey Joe Walcott, and Gus Lesnevich among his 82 career victories.  This would be a boxing contest pure and simple, beautiful to watch to some, and boring to some.  Rosenbloom wins the unanimous decision in my opinion.
