The youngster says that representing your own country is great and when honouring your country, you always feel more excited. And, after seeing off the challenges posed by the likes of Spain and France, Gonalons feels that the team is growing a lot and can
compete with anyone.

to grow and shows that it can compete with anyone.”
And the native of Venissieux admits that things have changed quickly for him now that he is the vice-captain of Les Gones and an important presence with Les Bleus. However, after attaining so much in a short span of time, Gonalons says that he will never
lose sight of his work ethic and will focus solely on the near future.
While talking about his influence in the Lyon dressing room, Gonalons said that the team is very important for him and that he wants to win more trophies. The beginning of the new campaign was a good one for Lyon and with a positive mindset, Gonalons is
keen on gaining more experience and help the team gain a podium finish by the end of the season.
“It is true that the beginning of the season was very satisfying in terms of mindset, considering the benefits. We are all geared towards the same goal that is the podium finish. If we continue on an average of two points per game, we will be there.”
