2NO(g) + O2(g) <---> 2NO2(g).

Name three ways the yield of NO2 could be maximized and explain any one of these fully in terms of Le Chatelier's Principle.

  1. 1.make the reaction happen in a closed system so that the gases don&#039;t fly away

    2.have a way of getting the heat produced sent out so that the NO2 doesn&#039;t decompose back. basically, the forward reaction should be favored.

    3. as soon as the NO2 is produced, it should be sent somewhere else so that only NO and O2 remain in the container so that the forward reaction is favored.. the NO and O2 concentration should be kept higher than teh NO2 concentration
