Hi, I have purchased a Maxtor Basics external portable hard drive (80 GB) today. However, I cannot see the HD getting connected to my laptop.I have connected both the connectors to my laptop for power and data as instructed. I am having a Compaq presario V2000 laptop with Windows XP. Kindly help.
