Thank you for your assistance , Carl. I have followed your advice and have connected the device to my computer. As I said there were no instructions and I need to know what to do to transfer/copy Genealogical records representing many, many hours of work to the device. Once done, I need to understand the process needed to return the records to the main drive should the main records be lost/wiped out at any stage. I am very surprised that instructions in paper or disc form were not included.
Any help you can give me would be most appreciated.
