bios does not recognize my hard drive correctly, only recognizes the family (calypso). it tries to boot but hangs in boot mode then it says slave hdd error,and carries on booting but only using primary, think the firmware is corrupted. can anyone help me found the firmware but not sure how to get it to the hard drive and reprogram please help thanks . SATA hard drive is recognized by Bios, but only that there is something there (will not list storage size, cylinders, etc...) Removed other hard drives and tried to install WinXP on SATA drive, windows installation came up with the "No mass storage device found" error. Any ideas?
