Maxum boat problem with leg?

ive gotta 21'' 1998 maxum

the leg is weird

it goes DOWN but not up

to make it go up i have to hit the trailer button.

whats going on and is it gonna cost me alot.

also there are stress cracks on the back right side.

is it much to worry about for now???

also wen on the trailer the boat tends to toter up and down alot

the boats not really touching thr front top roller.

  1. there are limiter switches two round things one on each side they are adjustable but most times it is the wire going to them usually right on the drive and if the transom is cracked take it yo a marina and get an estimate like a car if your boat is insured they might cover it the rollers are adjustable adjust it also for proper tongue weight


  2. Your trim/tilt problem is probably the switch or a broken/loose wire.  If you can raise the drive with "trailer" I doubt if you have a bad motor.  It should not be very expensive to fix.

    Stress cracks in the gell coat or in the fiberglass?  Gell coat cracks are not serious.  

    Most trailer rollers can be adjusted up or down so your boat will ride evenly.
