May 4 year old got this habit all of sudden she is bitting and sucking on her shirts and trying to break her?

she is unaware of it sometimes so maybe it is like sucrity she was never for the passy or the thumb any ideas about sucking or l*****g on the cloths she says it smells and taste good>>>

who didnt do this dear? lol im sure she will grow out of it. h**l clothes doooo smell good. especially when you use those little lavender clothes softner thing when you dry yur clothes. forgot the brand.

It is a security thing your right.  They do it if they are bored, scared, anxious about something, stressed....I have noticed a lot of kids do it and i hear parents at the store all the time telling their kids to stop doing it they are going to chew a hole in the shirt.

Does she usually grab the same part of the shirt?  If so, you might try spraying that section of the garment with some kind of an unpleasant tasting food product.  (Nothing that will spoil quickly.)  Or maybe garlic juice?  Shouldn't take long for her to decide that shirts don't taste good.

In addition to biting on the shirt there is no doubt pulling on the shirt which means pulling on the teeth.  My daughter's teeth started coming in crooked just because of her pacifier.  I'm sure the same thing can happen with a shirt.

I would not try to "break" her of the habit (if that's what you mean).    

Her clothes and her body are in her domain, and attempting to take control of things like that can backfire later on when control issues become more intense.   Some instances of eating disorders, for example, are related to control issues, many of which start early on in a child's life with an overly controlling parent.  

IOW, choose your battles wisely - a little sleeve sucking, etc., is not harmful as long as the clothing is clean or recently washed.
