  1. Yes, GED counts as graduating.

  2. Yes, try pennfoster.com.

They've been around for decades and over 18 million high school grads! (at home) All the benefits, except "walking".

  3. Why? A GED is hard work. You are a graduate. If you really want a diploma check this out:

North Atlantic Regional High School. They accept all kinds of credits - work, school, almost any relevant experience as long as it is true and documented. They are super nice to talk to also.

  4. You can graduate from homeschooling *if* you were actually homeschooled.

But to "go back" to school just for a HS'ing diploma seems unecessary.

*However* if you were HS'ed for high school, and you (and/or your parents) chose the GED route *instead of* a diploma, then you can finish out your credits and your parents can issue you a diploma.

FWIW, a diploma doesn't mean squat, really.  If you want a diploma to get into college - you don't need it.  Your SAT/ACT scores, portfolio, transcript, and interview are much more important.

  5. The government considers the GED to be exactly the same as an actual diploma - getting another would be redundant.
