  1. Because he is a good husband.

Plus he is saving money.  The car is less likely to break down, incurring costly repairs.

  2. Well she probably does her share of the household work, i.e. cooking, laundry, etc. - It's really only a one-person job anyway so he's doing his part as a husband. (It's not a clean job)!  He's just balancing out the work around the house.

Your mom's lucky.  Not all guys are handy.  Or do their share.

  3. to make sure the car is well maintained and won't break down and some handsome guy comes and help her and then leaves for the other guy

  4. To keep her car maintenance and make sure everything is full.

  5. because he cares. :)

  6. trust me on this one...its to keep the engine from blowing up...

  7. It is called regular car care. Little things like this are what make a car last for a long time. BTW, How many times are you going to ask this? You sound obsessed.

  8. Because he loves her. He also wants to make sure her car doesn't break down.

  9. I know that when my dad replaced a gasket, he checked the water and oil in my car for weeks after.  He also checked the same, when he changed my oil and radiator.  When he noticed a slight drop in water level, he was able to save me hundreds in a blown engine and water pump.  Could be, that your dad is trying to be a responsible car owner. He's probably one of the few people that do more to a car, then just put gas in it and drive it...

  10. why dont you ask your dad?

  11. Could it be that he just wants to make sure that the car is in tip top condition for her to drive

  12. idk maybe because he cares about her orr the car.or just to make sure the car wont be messeed up in the inside. because the oil gets nasty if you dont change it in a while.maybe he doesnt want her to get stranded anywhere because her car broke down.hope i get best answer

  13. He's lazy? How are we supposed to know the inner workings of your dad's mind without any more detail?

  14. 1. maybe he loves her and doesn't want her to break down on the side of the road.

    2. its cheaper to put oil and water in it than to fix it when it breaks down because he didn't.

  15. Why does the number of answers matter? Everyone is telling you the same thing. It is because he knows about car maintenance and maybe she does not, my fiancé takes care of things like that on my van because I do not know about cars. He loves me and he does not want me to have car trouble when he is not with me to help out. I do other things for him that mean just as much to him. Why does it bother you that your dad is taking care of your mom's car? Do you think she is not doing her part or something? What is the deal here?
