May i use another thing instead of a piece of Teflon in LNB?

i want to know how to insert a piece of Teflon in a feed horn's mouth with pictures and i want to know may i use something else instead of Teflon

Sure....just go down to your Local Hardware or Lumber yard,  go to the plumbing section and LOOK for  Teflon Tape used to seal s***w-on connections and wrap the part ....

I don't suggest veering away from the ORIGINAL materials used in the LNB's design.....

But you can find a different source for those materials....

Because <<YOU KNOW>> that the LNB manufacturer doesn't just <<throw stuff>> into their LNB for no good reason....

It SERVES a purpose.....
