Yeah, I've done a lot of research. Looking at all these different websites and taking notes on all of these different facts.

I bought my rabbit a couple of weeks ago from a local petstore. I believe when I bought her she was 3 months old. She was kept with other rabbits, including the opposite s*x.

I've been noticing her acting a little different, but I'm still not convinced that she is pregnant. She isn't pulling hair, yet anyway. But she has been panting on and off (she's not hot.) and she hasnt been eating a lot. I gave her some Timothy Hay, and usually she digs right in, chowing down. But she starting spreading it around her cage this time. And eating some of it. She's also been laying around a lot more, completely stretched out. I need someone to ask questions, and get some feedback. someone experienced.

  1. Your doe is most likley pregnate.By spreading the hay,she is making a nest and she will start to pull hair very soon.she will usually have the kits either right after she pulls hair or soon after. But,I have had does pull hair up to 3 weeks before she delivers.

    Good Luck~~

  2. the gestation is 28 to 31 days so she would be due soon and they don't normaly make a nest more then 2 days to a week before they kindle. it depends on the breed of rabbit too if she could be pregnant or not..if it is a small breed like netherland dwarf it is possbile but if it is a large breed it is not as likly. you may want to put a nest box in with her just in case.

  3. Well if you bought her from a store, then they probably already got her fixed, but just in case I would take her to a vet to get her checked...I don't like taking chances.
