May naka travel na ba dito ng Ho Chi Minh to Cambodia by land crossing the border?

Ill be visiting Vietnam soon. I was wondering if anyone has tried to cross the border from Saigon to Cambodia and back? Since we are visa-free, is "immigration" at the border easy? Am a little wary and anxious kasi, baka di ako makabalik sa Vietnam from Cambodia, since my Manila flight is from Vietnam.

You can easily cross the border between Vietnam_Cambodia bus tourist bus. Cost you about $10/way/person including 1 lunch on the way. The journey will take you about 6 hours from Saigon to Phnompenh or back.
