Maya Riviera/Dominican is the weather good(is it too hot)? and what resort should i stay at?

it is just me and my friend traveling and it is our first vacation. i would like to go to an all inclusive (cuz i want low food costs). i am not sure if it will rain alot and if it will be too hot.

Both have tropical weather. Temperatures in the summer usually reach 80-85° F. Moreover, the summer is the rainy season in this side of the world, so showers are frequently for a few minutes each day. Hurriacanes are more common in September and early October, but they develop in the caribbean in the summer too.

Take a look on the RIU Hotels, Iberostar, Dreams or Secrets all inclusive resorts web pages (google them). They have a lot of hotels in both destinations and usually all of them are excellent.
