I need an aspect of the Maya and Inca civilizations that they both have in common, but the Aztec can't have it. In other words, I need something the maya and Inca have in common with each other, but not with the Azec.

I need this for my Venn diagram of the maya, inca, and aztec. I have everything else EXCEPT for this.

  1. One simple aspect you can use is that both the Mayans and Incans occupied territories spanning several modern-day countries, whereas the Aztecs occupied a territory contained in only one modern-day country.

    Aztec: Mexico;

    Mayan: Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, and to a lesser extent, El Salvador and Honduras;

    Incan: Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, and to a lesser extent, Colombia

  2. incas and mayans died out

    aztecs lasted way longer.

  3. just type in incas and mayas on yahoo

  4. the mayans and incas flattened and shaped their infants heads with devices to indicate royality, while the aztecs did not.

    The mayans and incas were indigenous to their tribal areas, while the aztecs were recent immigrants from the colorado river area.  The aztecs were a nomadic tribe before they settled Tenochtitlan, which is now Mexico City.  The aztecs became powerful from very determined warfare and intermarriage with the toltecs.
