So myself and a few of my crew members ended up having a discussion of the MAYAN CALENDAR. The Mayan calendar ends on December 21st, 2012. A lot of speculation of the end of the world is near. That you have less than 4 years to live. Some believe that there will be a asteroid the size of a state that will be hitting earth. Some believe that it is the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. A lot of thought was put into this. You can Google the Mayan Calendar and so many ideas come up. The Book of Revelations state all these signs will happen, from the Red Moon, to the Red Sea which all have happened Except the Return of our Lord Jesus Christ. Do You believe that the world will end? What if the Mayan Calendar just ended just cause they stopped that ahead? A lot of scientists have been observing the sun. The big BLACK spots that are the size of a planet are storms on the Sun have always appeared to the north of the sun and move to the South. Recently within the last 10 years they noticed that the spots started to appear to the South and move to the North. Their research showed that there is a change about to happen to our solar system. I don't remember the number but it did say that like over 100,000 years ago or more the solar system had this change before. The change of the magnetic fields of the sun are changing. Which would affect Earth and all the other planets. Think about it, in the last 5 years, how bad have storms been getting? From Hurricanes to Tornadoes? Weather is influenced by the sun and gravity. With the sun going through changes and the Earth is reacting by it, do you they are in common?

  1. Some say "yes", some say "no". I'm bewildered and still awestruck on how an ancient culture, without technological advancements managed it so accurately. I highly doubt it was just dumb luck.

I've noticed quite a bit more natural disasters than usual. And I agree that it could be caused by the change of the magnetic field. The polarity of the Earth just might change in every elliptical procession. Every 2, 600 years, perhaps.

They've seen the signs of this by looking to the bottom of the ocean. When the Earth's tectonic plates move apart, the magma arises and is quickly turned into rock when meeting the water. The direction flow of the rock changes after a long while. You might be right, every 100, 000 years, but I  thought it would be much less. I figured every processional boundary would somehow change it. But I'm no scientist, so how would I know?

Or could it change around the time the North Star changes. Currently the North Star is Polaris, and it's very slowly moving to Vega. It's possible the astrological alignment somehow changed the polarity if the Earth, isn't it?

As for the end of time, part of the question: It may or may not be. But I do believe something terrible will happen on that date.

It is believed to be the end of time because it is on that particular date that our planet begins to take spin out of the current processional boundaries. We are presently in the Processional age Pieces.

Have you ever wondered why Jesus is often symbolized with a fish? It is because he is the main figurestone, or icon if you will, of Pieces. The same instance with King Tut and his symbolization with a bull, thus indicating Torus.

It is on that particular date that the Earth heads out of Pieces and into Aquarius. Like that old song says "This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius."

It's uncertain if the calendar ends there simply because of this reason or because of some world devastating disaster expected to happen. Or perhaps the Mayans just got tired of writing it or were wiped out by Spanish Conquistadors. We really don't know what, if anything, will happen on that date.

However, one coincidental factor about the End of times in correlation with the Mayan Calendar comes from the Bible. Where Jesus preaches about the End of the Age. Could he have literally meant the Age of Pieces?

It's not certain, but an interesting theory. And part of me is really scared to see what'll happen.

  2. Hang the world coming to an end. The surest thing for everyone is death - the end. Let's make the best of our lives before we croak !

  3. just pray,then youll know

  4. Oddly enough Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce both believed that a major event will happen in the year 2012.  Now these are 3 groups that had no recollection of one another yet they all became fixated on this year.  I personally find that extremely odd.

However, do I believe the world is going to end?  I don't know, I'm not God nor can I tell the future.  Though I just take the overall idea you get from this.

Tomorrow is not guaranteed, so live life for today.

  5. I honestly don't know the answer to this qusetion. But I do want to thank you for posting this information. It was very interesting and I now want to look up some info about this topic:)

  6. I think their calendar could have ended for plenty of reasons. But even if they believed it would be the end of the world, how would they have known? My datebook only goes to the end of the year, however I think the world will exist beyond my datebook :)

  7. Nothing is going to happen in 2012 based on the Meso-American Long Count Calendar.  Work on their calendar was just interrupted when they got to 2012 and they had to head for the hills due to an enemy attack, plague or other natural disaster.  They didn't even predict their own end, why does anyone think they predicted our end?

  8. yes i believe that the world will end. it is not just the Mayans that have the world ending in the year 2012. to have as many cultures/ religions all stating that the world ends in 2012 is more then coincidence.  the Mayans where very spiritual and scientific (for their time) people they just did not stop their calculations on the calender. yes our solar system is changing the sun has dark spots because it is probably a dieing star (if not already supernova-ed - light takes time to travel especially the distance through space). yes the magnetic fields are thought to be changing and this will affect our solar system and probably our Galaxy. the weather is changing drastically do to the changes in magnetic fields and the sun dieing. yes everything ties together like it is meant to it is all in the grand plan of God. or if you do not believe in God look to science the earth can not with stand such changes over long periods of time. we could be headed theoretically towards a new ice age or a massive flood in the movie water world.

  9. I would not worry about the exact forcast date on Dec. 2012 its just the beginning of increase of solar sunspots that may last for quite a long time.  After 2012 you might see an increase of  activity.  I should note that I have not done  a complete research on the earths magnetic polarity.  Scientist have said that the activity of lately has not been seen since a really long time.  They are scared that it might harm the satellites systems and possibly our security.

  10. Well, im not sure that the world is going to end on that date but who knows we cant rely on obsolete things. We cannot believe everything we have been taught, im pretty sure something odd is going to happen since the globe is changing and the weather is dramatically changing, but im not sure about the end of the world. If it does come to and end or if something does happened on dec 2012 then we all better have one giant orgy in Los Angeles!.......thats for sure.

  11. Deja Moo!

    1.  The Mayan calendar DOES NOT "come to an end".  It's circular.  Just like January 1 follows December 31.  December 21, 2012 will simply be the start of the 5th cycle of the Mayan calendar.

    2.  Previously debunked "end of the world" scenarios were in the year 1000; Y2K; and several planetary alignments, beginning with the "big one" in 1982.  And let us not forget the notification (back in the 70s) that the world was entering another ice age.

As for the asteroid... Eros is going to miss us by 27,000 kilometres (give or take).

    Here's your Chicken Little hat.

Please go sit in the naughty corner.
