  1. Yes, it makes your hair stink!

To fix my damaged hair, I squash up an avocado, add 1 tbs of olive oil, and a tbs of lemon juice, put a shower cap over it for an hour, rinse and wash as usual, it works and it doesn't stink.

  2. Yes, I've heard of it. I've also heard of raw egg yolk, as well as olive oil. Also mashed avocado.

They could be all old wives' tales, or they could possibly make your hair shiny. I guess it doesnt hurt to try, although you'd have to give your hair a good scrub afterwards.

Oh, in case you try the raw egg one-- dont wash it out in  hot water or you'll end up with cooked poached egg all over your hair. Seriously.

  3. the grease is what makes it shiny....just buy silkening gloss!! lol

  4. i havn't tried it but they say its good..it grosses me out the thought too

  5. i haven't tried it, but they say its great for a conditioning effect.

my mother used to do it.

no, i think you would not smell like it, if you rinsed it out like any other conditioner.

  6. I would never use mayo. I don't like mayo anyways, why would I put it on my hair? Just buy good conditioner. I use 3 Minute Miracle from Aussie and I love the results.

  7. it works but it smells gross

so after you rinse it out put conditioner to make your hair smell better :)
