  1. Oh, yes, of course. Once the jar has been opened, it must be kept in the fridge.

  2. Yes it should only be kept in the fridge ONCE IT IS OPENED and consumed within however many weeks it says on the label.

It says this on the label of most things, ketchup, brown sauce etc but lots of people don't keep them in the fridge, I do but my boyfriends family doesn't!

  3. Definately to be stored in the fridge once opened (and it has quite a short life).

  4. After opened it should be placed in the fridge.  When it is still factory sealed it can stay on the shelf, but only to a certain date of course.

  5. Yes, if it has been opened.

  6. yes

  7. An closed mayo jar can be kept in  a cool place, but when u open it, it should be kept in the fridge all the time!!!!!!!!!

  8. why you want your mayo hot?

  9. usually any condiment whether dressing, sauce etc once opened should be placed in fridge..again,'once opened' .

  10. On the shelf, it is in a sealed container.  Once opened, it has oxygen available to it and it must be refrigerated to prevent bacterial growth.

  11. Definately should keep mayo in the fridge once it has been opened

  12. Once open keep in fridge !

    (:

  13. Refrigerate after opening.

  14. Eggs are sold on the shelf but they aren't cracked open, are they?  Read the label.

  15. Yes, like almost everyone said before me. :-)

  16. Once its open, then you should store it in the fridge

  17. Once it's opened, definately in the fridge... Safe on shelf until the seal is broke..

  18. Once it is opened it should be stored in the fridge.  It is a bit like, say, tinned tuna.  You would not leave that out when it is opened, but unopened it is fine.  Air causes oxidisation and other nasty things.

  19. Once opened, in the fridge.

  20. Once the jar has been opened it should be stored in the fridge.

  21. once its been opened yes :-)

  22. Yes. Try this experiment. Put some mayo in a jar and leave it out on the counter. After 48 hours, compare the mayo in the refridgerator to the one left out on the counter. Just based on appearance, which mayo looks more appetizing? Throw out the mayo you left out on the counter.

  23. If you cracked open an egg, would you store it on your shelf?

  24. ofocz

  25. once opened it needs fridge, just like most things...

  26. In the shop it is sealed but once it is open the shelf life decreases so it has to be stored in a cool dark place like a fridge otherwise it won't keep.
