Mays Millhouse, Dippy Boy determined to win R.D Racing Stayers at Oxford
The audience at Oxford is expected to witness a tug of war between Mays Millhouse and Dippy Boy on Thursday, March 29, 2012. The two top quality runners will be in action in the R.D Racing Stayers, a 595 metres Flat Grade OR heat.
The meeting will be commenced at 21:00 GMT. Among the confirmed entries are: Mays Millhouse, Dippy Boy, Afan Hawk, Ballymac Nap, Castle Madam and Mall Return.
With some talented contenders in the line-up, the competition is likely to be quite entertaining. According to the betting forecast, Mays Millhouse is holding the highest odds of 7 to 4.
However, his good starting price does not mean he has the highest chances of winning. Dippy Boy, who is in terrific form these days, will not let anyone enjoy the glory comfortably.
Mays Millhouse was below par in his penultimate heat. On March 16, he completed the order of finish at Romford. However, an embarrassing defeat did affect his confidence.
The black dog returned strongly in the very next heat and sealed top position by five and a half lengths. It was definitely a pleasing result for his connections, who had been anxiously waiting for his good performance.
G. Ballentine’s trainee will be tested by Dippy Boy, trained by T. Kibble. The black dog will step out on the track in search of his hat-trick. He recently clinched a couple of back to back wins, earning a lot of admiration.
In both of his victories, Kinloch Brae’s son out of Malta Magic defeated his rivals by a heavy margin. His fresh success came on March 22, when he outsmarted Lively Travel by 6¾ lengths.
With two forceful performances under his belt, the black dog is in good position to strike his hat-trick. Both hounds need not take Afan Hawk lightly. Although the black and white dog is in poor form these days, his ability to spring up a surprise cannot
be ignored.
According to our prediction, it will be a hard battle between Mays Millhouse and Dippy Boy. No matter who wins, it will be a rip-roaring clash.
