Unable to find a pump for our trusty old Maytag WU400 dishwasher, I picked up a WU203. The drain hose on the 400 was routed along the side, to the top and back down again - and after installing a hose straight out and then down on the new one, I discovered why! I can't use the old hose - it's smaller and the drain is in a different place. Can I just put an anti-syphon valve in the hose I have or does it need to be routed like the old one? If it does, where do I rout it? The old one went up the side but I can't see anyplace to fasten a drain hose on the new one.
