Maytag side by side not defrosting....

Question

Model MSD2456DE Maytag Side by Side. The freezer is not freezing but is cold. I see ice built up on the back wall behing the shelves. Not sure if this is related but for the past couple of weeks, in the refrigerator side, at the top on the right side there has been a clicking noise that would come and go.
