  1. He his hype becasue he is cocky. He was the perfect reason to be cocky because he is sitting at the top and nobody knocked him down. He going to go undefeted all his life.He is the best.

Floyd the hatin on u baby.

  2. I am not a Floyd Mayweather fan but he deserves to be the #1 recognized P4P boxer because he does the sweet science of boxing so perfect of "hit and to not get hit" his style is not of a slugger like a Mayorga or a Margarito but his boxing ability is unmatched nobody has this type of great technical skills as well great defensive.

I've watched lots of Floyd Mayweather's fights and one great performance was against Phillip Ndou because Floyd really showed lots of his great defense and showed some punching power little that he has he dominated that fight and he even won by knockout.

I personally like these kind of boxers like a Paulie Malagnaggi, Winky Wright they are defensive boxers with very little power but they show their defense skills and while most people say they are boring I think they show great boxing skills.

Here is a video of Mayweather vs Ndou http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asOZKxU98...

  3. yep

  4. he deserves the hype, he beat our most hyped boxer ricky hatton easily enough, he's just that good.

  5. Yes

What the h**l was up with that WrestleMania match

  6. He doesn't get too much hype, he's the best boxer in the world right now. And trust me, mayweather was the one who attracted the ppv buys in the hatton fight, if ricky hatton was really that popular , his fight with luanzo would have been on ppv, but it was not, it wasn't even on hbo

  7. Love him or hate him, PBF wins.  He not only wins but he wins decisively.

The rap on Floyd is that he ducks the best opponents, particularly Margarito and Cotto.  Margarito looks like the best bet to beat Floyd.  Margo has a granite chin and he throw lots of hard punches.  He would probably keep Floyd on the run and some of his punches should get threw.  But he probably will retire aftr ODH II and we won't get to see him against either Margo or Cotto.

I don't think Floyd deserves the P4P "title."  If you won't fight the best opponents in your own weight class it's hard to make a case that you're the best in any weight class.  I know money is a big issue, but the fact is that, for whatever reason, Floyd hasn't fought the best opponents out there.

  8. jame b- he dominated eveybody at 140?? are you sure everybody? demarcus corley, henry bruseles and arturo gatti are you talking about those elite great fighters lol.

yea floyd is too much hype. he hasnt proven himself in the last 3 years i think. he has always hand pick his apponents that arent much risk to him. and he has always ducked fighters at different weight classes  like.... steave johsnton, kostya tszyu, joel cassamayor, acelino freitas, antonio margarito and now cotto

and floyd was not even famous untill he fought de la hoya

  9. Until someone beats him- he deserves all that comes his way.  He is easily the most hated and most hated on boxer.

As far as action?  He crumpled Hatton.  Hatton was supposed to brawl and Floyd was supposed to run... but wait a minute- - it was Floyd who KO'd Hatton... and yes there was a lot of 'satisfying' action in that fight.

As far as he PPV sales- Hatton is English... those 2 million PPV buys were American buys not English.

The most PPV buys for Oscar were against Floyd.   ODLH has never approached the number of PPVs against any other fighter.

You must have a very short memory... At 140 he absolutely destroyed everyone who stepped into the ring with him.

He has not been as dominant at 147- but look for that to change in November.

  10. Apparently, he brings in money on pay perview, and that's the reason for the much-ballyhooed hype and signing an entertainment contract with the WWE a few months ago.
