  1. It was clear to me that Oscar threw the first fight, it appeared as though when Oscar used the jab Floyd had no answer, It was turning into Oscar just bullying him along the ropes.

Oscar knew there would be mega money in the rematch so he let a few rounds go so that it would go to decision. As long as it was close or Mayweather won their would be a rematch.

And here comes the second fight, So I'm assuming Oscar will win this one by decision and they will go to a third fight where they will fight for real.

Its appealing to Oscar because he is going to promote it and make big millions while helping along his company,Floyds going to get his cut too and as long as he is taking fights with DeLaHoya he can avoid Cotto.

Oscar will beat Floyd in the third fight by knockout and Floyd will retire and say "thanks suckers" back to my huge mansion and all my cars.

So I'm taking Oscar by Decision. The real fight will be the third fight, both these guys are business men now, not fighters anymore. Id love to see either Oscar or Floyd get in their with Cotto so Cotto could take their head off.

They would probably try and bribe Cotto as well though, Hope he has enough brass to turn it down when it comes.

  2. Floyd Mayweather, Jr. should win the rematch more convincingly by a unanimous decision.  A lot of people say that "Oscar can win if he uses his jab", but thats not true and there is a very simple reason why Oscar stopped jabbing in the first fight, and I'll tell you- Floyd started to counter it with the straight right.  And now, Mayweather will be even more conscience of the jab in the rematch, so he will be able to counter it even more oftenly and effectively.  Oscar can fight guys like Steve Forbes 100 times and beat them 100 times, but it doesn't change the fact that his reflexes are slower, he is more open to counters, he is past his prime, and he will lose to top-level fighters at this stage of his career (especially a rematch with the best pound for pound fighter in the world).

  3. Who gives a ****, this fight has no business even happening.

On second thought, that's exactly what this fight is...business.

A business transaction taking place in a ring with boxing attire on.

  4. Mayweather, though I wish it was De La Hoya.Boxing is going to c**p now.

  5. I think it's gonna be Mayweather, simply because Mayweather has more stamina and speed compare to Oscar. Age matters in this fight. Technically speaking, I will say that Delohay is much better than mayweather because of the experience. This must be a tough fight and this is unanimous or a draw decision. This is also the scenario when Many Pacqiao against barrera and Marquez.

  6. oscar all the way. oscar beat him last time but was robbed of dec.lousy judges is what is killing boxing .oscar will ko him next time

  7. Mayweather should be fighting Cotto but his is dodging him like he has alll real competition his whole career.  I don't see DLH winning but I will be hoping he wins.

  8. For the record i hate bothe fighters. but i know this game. ive been around it my whole life and my dad is a boxing trainer. Now, with that said.....

Floyd WILL win....again! anyone who thinks oscar won the last fight, doesnt know a thing about this sport. Mayweather outlanded by twice as much! Oscar landed i think 23% of his punches! thats horrible! you cant beat someone when you get outlanded by twice as much. Oscar fought frantically and didnt provide the "cleaner effective punching" something judges look at. along with defense....that went to Floyd of course. People say Oscar is the one that engage and made Floyd fight, thats how ALL his fights are. If you actually watched the fight, you would see how Dela Hoya threw many punches, but missed so many. the same thing he did against mosely. but the average fan gets excited just cause punches are thrown. they dont see if its missed, or blocked, or hits the shoulder or an elbow.

This fight will be different (in floyds favor though) he has the confidence and his only worry last fight was Oscar being bigger and stronger, and Floyd never got hurt. So hes gonna do something he didnt do much last fight....engage more and let his hands go and throw more combos. He did that several times the last fight in the middle of the ring and ROCKED Oscar. He WILL do it more this time.Oscar does NOT have the hand speed to match Floyd and he can beat Oscar to the punch whenever he wants....and he will do that.

look at their last fights. Floyd will be coming off a KO victory against one of boxings better fighters, Ricky Hatton who WAS undefeated. an impressive win.

while oscar is coming of a decision against a hand-picked steve forbes. who fought 20 pounds above his usual weight. and only had a few KO's at that weight.

so come on! if anyone thinks oscar will win, go watch MMA or find another sport, please.
