The five-division world champion and World Boxing Council Emeritus World Super Welterweight Champion Floyd Mayweather’s mega showdown with the Vicious, Victor Ortiz, which is scheduled for September 17, 2011 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, will
include coverage of the build up on CNN.
Moreover, this fight will also be shown live in various movie theatres across the United States.
The American undefeated legend, Mayweather, who has won all of his 41 professional fights, with 25 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, is stepping in the ring after almost 16 months. He will up against the current World Boxing Council’s Welterweight
Champion, Ortiz, who has a record of 29 wins from 33 of his fights including 2 draws. 22 of his wins have come by way of a knockout.
Therefore, this fight has already created a lot of hype and with the help of CNN, there will certainly be a lot more Pay-Per-Views.
Home Box Office’s Pay-Per-View chief Mark Taffet was very delighted with CNN’s help as he knows it is going to sell the fight on an even higher scale.

Mayweather claimed people will definitely get a great fight to see in the theatres on September 17.
