  1. not at all .

  2. I thought he was completely outclassed.  The whole fight he was throwing ineffective wide looping punches that made him look like an amateur.  The man is well past his prime but I guess he feels he doesnt have enough millions so he keeps fighting.  At this point he just needs to concentrate on Golden Boy Productions and continue to book excellent fight packages.

  3. Not at all.  Mayweather was sharper and more effective regardless of how many punches he threw at a time.

  4. I love how everyone talks about how much of of a chance Floyd's opponents have until he beats them and then they spend just as much time degrading them. Oscar lost clearly i think people wanted Oscar to win so bad they seen a fight that wasn't really happening. Oscar couldn't land the clean shots and stopped using the jab the weapon that was working best. Floyd is going to rip him app art him the rematch just like he did Castillo. Cotto is a walk in the park for Floyd and anybody that thinks Floyd is going to have trouble with him think about this cotto beat an old Mosley by two rounds no you really think he could get to Floyd watch the Corrales or Chavez or Castillo 2 and you'll see none of those welterweights can beat him. Carlos Quintina would be a victim probably get knocked out Cotto is to slow and would get outboxed easy. Citron isn't popular enough and Margo dosent have money or a belt or a big name to draw fans no point in fighting him. Plus when he lost to Williams his chance was done. Paul lost his chance when Carlos beat him and Mosley lost his chance when cotto beat him. Floyd is about business and Mosley,Williams,Margarito dint make any business seance

  5. Mayweather won the the fight. I like both fighters but dont want to see a rematch. The crowd goes wild when they see a flury, but not landing. It looks good but not good if not landing. That's the reason why people think Oscar won the fight. Everyone want's to see the cotto fight. Just think about Diaz vs Campbell, boxer beats brawler. Every brawler Mayweather fights, people say's the guy is going to bang his body. They end up losing. Cotto has a chance just like other's had. Over the year's, Cotto has trouble with boxer's. I dont believe Cotto can beat Oscar, If Oscar stick to his jab. The only reason Cotto had problem's with Mosley because he ran into a guy can give him the same. It was time Mosley hurt Cotto and Cotto started to run. Mosley was hit with some big shots but never hurt or in danger. If Mosley had a effective jab, if could have went the other way. Mosley has never been a boxer, just stand like one. I seen that he's looking for a rematch with Cotto.

  6. It was a fairly close fight, I wouldn't call it a robbery. De La Hoya stopped using his jab, and that cost him the fight. If Oscar would've kept using his jab, there is no doubt that he would've won.

Edit- What bothers me is that Mayweather's fans say that Floyd destroyed De La Hoya, when the fight was close, and neither opponent mastered the other.

  7. I think it was a fair fight but I think he didnt!!!

  8. I thought it was close through the first 8rounds. Then it seemed Oscar was less aggressive and stopped throwing the jab. Mayweather took the last 4 rounds and won.

  9. Robbed? Maybe A Bit. But I Think Floyd Did Enough To Win.

  10. You're probably the only one who thinks that.  Maybe someone paid Floyd's father to say that or he was just trying to p**s Floyd off but I dont really think HE believes Oscar won.

It was a very boring fight and, though I like Oscar, I hope Steve Forbes beats him because I dont want to see a Mayweather-De La Hoya rematch.  Its a total waste of time and I, for one, am sick of the so called "Name" fighters cutting in line and having their own private party with the sport of boxing.

    COTTO

I dont think either De La Hoya or Mayweather has anything to prove by fighting each other.   I'll bet that, if you could take a public poll, more people would rather see either of two fights (or both) over this one.

    De La Hoya-Trinidad 2

    Mayweather-Cotto

Mayweather has accomplished a lot.  However, he'd fooling himself if he thinks the public cant see the big picture.  He's too young and has no intention to retire.  Therefore, there is NO reason he should not fight THE biggest threat in his weight class.

    COTTO

Unless and Until Floyd Mayweather defeats Miguel Cotto he will never fully gain any place among the elite.  The FEW people who often mention Floyd alongside legends like Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, Robinson will see in the long run that Floyd falls just short of these legends.

    COTTO

I would like to think "Camp Floyd" is waiting for the public to yell so loud that they would be willing to pay any price to see him fight Cotto.  The Leonard camp did a similar thing with Hearns.  Time will tell.  Still Oscar-Floyd 2 is meaningless.

    COTTO

Oscar should fight Tito, beat him for real this time and dont let the judges help Tito.  Taking nothing from Trinidad but he lost that fight with Oscar.  As for Floyd, there is only one fight that matters anymore.

    COTTO

    Cant ignore him much longer.

  11. i think de la hoya was robbed by mayweather he always says hes the best and gives good fights latly i haven't seen any from him hatton i knew he was gonna win agaisnt hatton but hatton doesnt got the chin to fight mayweather and de la hoya does if de la hoya kept his jab up no doubt he would have won now if mosley was in there and in his prime he would knock out mayweather
