Mazda b2300 engine idle problems

I have 1994 b2300. Engine recently started idling bad. I unplugged the mass air flow sensor and it ran better. So i thought thats was it an got another one off a truck at the junk yard. Its still idling bad with the change. any suggestions?

  1. clean your old mass air flow sensor with a spray cleaner

    clean you idle air control valve check you spark plug wires for leakage start it up and spray water from a hose over the engine if it dies you need a tune up


  2. Yeah the vac lines on the 2.3;s like to burn up.. Look around they like to hide...  

  3. change fuel filter add a bottle of fuel treatment get new air filter  

  4. ck if your mazda b2300 has a cold sensor valve. its like a choke on fuel injection cars and it take a sample of temp from coolant.

    also clean MAF sensor inside of it.

    take a look at this photo and clean at red arrow (that is where maf sensor is at. also, clean green arrow too.
