Mazda3 or Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima?

Having a hard time choosing cars but narrowed it down to these three. I have pretty much done my research, have test drove all these cars and are getting ready to offer a price. What is a good asking price for each, how low can I go? I just need an idea because money matters but so does reliability and snow performance. We're paying cash which is why I am looking at used, but newer vehicles around $12,000.

'06 Mazda3

46,00 miles $12,000

base, no traction control which is something I am looking for but willing to overlook because I would get blizzak snow tires for the winter and am an extremely cautious driver

'02 Toyota Camry SE

69,000 miles $12,000

'05 Nissan Altima S

51,000 miles $14,000

  1. Personally, I would go with the Camry SE.  Even though it may be the oldest of the three, and the most miles, Toyotas are Japanese cars and last a very long time.  Reliability a concern?  No problem, the Camry's reliability history has been given top ratings all around.  It has also been a best bet, shown the most outstanding out of it's class.  Hope this works for you.

  2. well the mazda 3 is the newest and has the lowest miles and is a decent price its cheaper than the 05 altima and same price as the 02 camry so i would go with the mazda 3 and if u are a good driver then u shouldnt worry about traction control its not a magic workerits just an assistant so i say mazda 3 is a better deal

  3. I would get the camry SE. It handles like a champ in the snow and its more reliable in my eyes than the Altima. I dont think you wanna be on the side of the road in a blizzard
