Mazzarri is ‘poor man’s Jose Mourinho’, blasts the Catania Sporting Director: Serie A news
Catania Sporting Director, Pietro Lo Monaco, has blasted Napoli manager, Walter Mazzarri, for moaning on the refereeing decisions and has branded him as ‘poor man’s Jose Mourinho’.
Mazzarri recently criticised the referee’s decisions in his team’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Vincenzo Montella’s side on Saturday, October 29th, 2011. The former Sampdoria boss insisted that the Rossazzurri did not
even deserve a draw from the game and the referee favoured them.
The Catania Director has taken a swipe on the Italian’s comments and insisted that the manager has to show some respect towards the match officials and they cannot favour a small side like Catania.
The Elephants have earned the reputation of giant killers after their impressive performances against the bigger clubs. The 57-year-old insisted that his team have not won their first match at the Stadio Angelo Massimino this season

The former midfielder insisted that Mazzarri has started to follow Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho’s tactics of blaming the referee every time his team suffers a defeat. Mourinho has been the highlight of the news after he blasted

While talking to the reporters, Pietro Lo Monaco said, “His recognition does not interest me. Mazzarri continues to speak in reference to the match officials and I do not like it because I cannot think that a referee would favour

Catania have had an impressive start to the 2011/12 season and have picked up 14 points from the nine games played so far. They are sixth in the league table and are only five points behind leaders, Juventus.
