Walter Mazzarri, head coach of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003, has remarked on the progress undertaken by the team of late, while also commenting on his selection for the Bologna match.
Napoli have been touted as many as being the anti-Juve; however, they have not been able to fully assimilate themselves into the role of being up there at the top. Even though the Vesuviani outfit have been performing remarkably well as compared to last year, and they have been trying to balance the competitions they are participating in with better success. However, Mazzarri has stated that it is still a long way before the end of the season and the team would be looking to focus and maintain a good run of form to pile and keep the pressure on the opposition.
Furthermore, it has to be stated that the team would be looking to provide themselves with cover in the January market as well, with suggestions that two of their players might be banned for a period of six months following their alleged involvement in match fixing in the Serie A.
The former Cagliari head coach also reflected on the return of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Renato-c30823 Dall'Ara outfit.
He was quoted to have said that the team needs to be motivated and focussed on the tie against Bologna and stated that the result in the match will be imperative for their future. Furthermore, he went on to state:
“I’ll decide the line-up tomorrow. I’m happy to have Pandev back, as he is a very important figure in this team. I don’t know whether I’ll confirm the line-up that took on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567, as we played well despite the defeat. We’ve done better against small sides this season, as it was only against Torino that we shot ourselves in the foot. This is why we must be wary of Bologna and keep focused.”
It will be an important match for Mazzarri as he looks to build the credentials of his team for the title race.
