Mazzarri upset with criticism and content with his team’s performances so far: Serie A news
Napoli manager, Walter Mazzarri, is upset with the criticism on his team and believes that they are achieving big things.

Mazzarri insists that his team has been consistent in producing positive results of late but the critics tend to forget that. The former Sampdoria boss slammed the people who think that his team is lacking intensity as the season
is progressing and believes that the tough fixture schedule is taking its toll on the players.
“So far we are achieving exceptional things, as eight positive results in 10 games during a short space of time is not bad. People always seem to forget these things and try to raise expectations. I am hearing some absurd talk
about Napoli and if these lads have a moment of losing intensity, it’s normal considering so many matches in quick succession.”
The manager insisted that he is happy with his team’s performances and the team results achieved so far this season. The 50-year-old further added that the people just want them to win each and every game which is totally unrealistic.
“Last season we won at Cagliari playing worse football than we did to get a draw this weekend. It even seemed as if some turned their noses up at our draw with Bayern Munich. People really have lost sense of reality.”
The Azzurri have picked up only one point from their last two games but the boss insists that the team does not need to panic. On the other hand, Napoli have had an impressive start to the UEFA Champions League and are placed 2nd
in the Group A. They played brave draws against Manchester City and Bayern Munich and picked up a comfortable win against Villarreal.
