Mazzarri urges Napoli to give everything to register their first Champions League win
Napoli manager, Walter Mazzarri, has insisted that his side will give their 100 percent to collect three points against Villarreal.
The Azzurri will host the Spanish outfit in an important UEFA Champions League game on Tuesday, 27 September 2011. Mazzarri is happy with his team’s performance against Manchester City in their opening match of the competition
and believes that game has made them the team to beat.
The Partenopei side clinched a 1-1 draw in the away fixture a fortnight ago and could have easily gone onto win the contest. Champions League is on top of the priority list of competitions for the manager and he wants his players
to treat every game like a final. The former Sampdoria boss is happy with the start to the season and has urged his players to continue the good work.
While talking to the reporters, Mazzarri said, "We will give all we have to beat Villarreal. Every game for us is like a final. The team is doing well and we showed this against Fiorentina. We know our strengths and weaknesses.
We have become the team to beat and teams come here knowing they will only get two out of three results [a draw or a loss]."
Villarreal have not had a good start to the season and have won only one game of the five played thus far. However, Mazzarri has warned his side against complacency and has urged them not to take the opposition lightly. The 49-year-old
is predicting a tight game and has already planned against the counter-attacking tactics of the opposition.
"Like many teams who play us, they will come here to play a closed game and then hit us on the break. It will be a difficult game for us as they reached the semi-finals of the Champions League not long ago."

optimistic ahead of the clash.
