The Dutch-Moroccan footballer has assured the fans of turning down any proposals from European clubs this summer to stay with the Russian Premier League outfit
Anzhi Makhachkala midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mbark-Boussoufa-c25085, has assured that he is not going to switch his current club during the upcoming summer transfer window despite reported interest from a host of top European club.
If speculations are to be believed, Tottenham Hotspur are lining up a bid for the Dutch-Moroccan midfielder after the potential departure of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Bale-c14422 and Rafael van der Vaart during the summer.
The aforementioned players are attracting interests from Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain respectively.
Boussoufa, who joined the ambitious Russian outfit from Anderlecht last year, has admitted that he is not considering his future elsewhere because he wants to help the Makhachkala-based club next season.
“I will not lie, indeed, the interest is there, and I know that too, but I want to reassure all at once: I am happy at Anzhi and I was happy with everything here. So I do not see a reason why I should leave my current club."
"The Russian championship is progressing day by day. When I look in the past when I get here, I can see clear progress. Famous players are accepting this reality by joining the Russian clubs and the competition is becoming more
interesting and unpredictable.” The Belgian Cup winner was quoted as saying.
The fact that the Dagestani club has failed to secure UEFA Champions League berth this season disappoints Boussoufa, who has admitted that Anzhi have failed to meet expectations despite signing decent players recently.
There is little arguing that Anzhi have splashed massive cash on fresh recruits since the arrival of Suleyman Kerimov. The Wild-division managed to sign http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christopher-Samba-c9212 and Samuel
Eto’o in recent years.
The Belgian First Division winner admitted that Anzhi needed to do much better during the third league round. Anzhi managed to record five wins from 12 league appearances during the last round.
Boussoufa urged his team-mates to work harder in a bid to claim a decent spot in the league table next season.
