Mc donalds in uk halal?

i wanted to know...about the mc donalds in uk which are not halal...are the french fries haram too? i mean are they fried on the same fryer? or is it fried wid vegetable oil or animal fat...:S

i think they fry them with vegetable oil, im from the US and here they use vegetable oil, if your not sure just ask em. u guys got halal mcdonalds ur so lucky! over hear its so hard to find a halal place to eat!

In UK, they fry them with rapeseed oil since 1993 (before that, they used beef tallow), which is non-animal fat. So you are fine, no harm done to your believes.  :)
