  1. I though McAFee SiteAdvisor was totally free.  I am pretty certain it is a free down load that yoiu then install and that you can use it without paying.

It is a Firefox Extension Download.

I think youi may need to be using the Firefox (Mozilla) search engine. You can download it here:

McAfee SiteAdvisor - Firefox Extension Download

  2. McAfee Site Adviser is free. I would try deleting it & re installing it

  3. The site advisor's trial period has expired. you have to install it again from the cd

  4. Yes your absolutely right....as mine has been like that

    for about 5 days.

Uninstalling and reinstalling made no difference on mine.

This appears to be a Yahoo problem rather than

a Mcafee problem as everything is working correctly

on Google and this would be better and safer to use,

at least until somebody comes up with a fix on Yahoo.

The timing of it was shortly after a windows update,

but that could be coincidence....who knows

And finally i also have the GREEN toolbar box and have

also reported it to Mcafee.....no response as yet.

  5. Try your options menu. Was it a trial version or has it expired. Check for updates.

  6. McAfee siteadvisor is the tool that checks websites for whether they are good or bad. You must have unistalled it at one point or another.. My suggestion is looking in your mcafee application for siteadvisor and see if it is switched on or even installed.
