I missed his speech but I have just read it. He took a jab at Obama which I thought was beneath the McCain I like. I so ok...I'll give a pass on that. Then he basically endorsed Obama by saying the following:

(Pro Obama Statements)

"If you find faults with our country, make it a better one. If you're disappointed with the mistakes of government, join its ranks and work to correct them."

(Obama didn't do these)

"Enlist in our armed forces. Become a teacher. Enter the ministry."

(Back to what Obama has done)

"Run for public office."

(I don't know about Barack but dems could probably spin this to say he did it via his community organizing that he was mocked for...you be the judge)

"Feed a hungry child. Teach an illiterate adult to read. Comfort the afflicted. Defend the rights of the oppressed. Our country will be the better, and you will be the happier. Because nothing brings greater happiness in life than to serve a cause greater than yourself."

I'm not anti McCain but there were things in this speech that sounded like Obama.

What do you think?

  1. It was basically a "me too" speech.

  2. I don't think anything he said about dem's what positive. What gets me is that he had the audacity to use  the phrase "we need a change", just like Obama stated when in fact Mcsame never stated this before.

  3. Those aren't pro Obama. All good things are pro Obama now?

You're hoping the dems spin? Have you no integrity?

  4. His speech sounded like he was running against the republican party and was going to change everything the republicans had done aside from the useless war in Iraq.
