Question:

McCain's VP choice. Is his judgment impaired by his advanced age?

McCain met with his VP choice once before choosing her as running mate. What was he thinking? How can a man make such an important decision without having all the facts (or at least more facts)? Is it possible that he is loosing it because of his very advanced age? If he is loosing it, did he not just put our national defense at risk? Imagine that by an off chance he won the election, and that dementia finally won over him. This poor woman would be the commander in chief. Scary isn't it?

  1. It definitely shows his impaired judgment, especially since he launched an attack not to long ago on Obama for the same reason: his supposed 'lack of experience'.

McCain has to know voters are going to be voting with his advanced age on their minds, realizing the very real possibility that the vice president they elect could very well become our next president.

So what on earth was he thinking?

Furthermore, if he was trying to appear "with it," electing a staunch pro-lifer, who endorses his ultra-conservative politics, was not the way to do it.

Obama made history with his nomination, and McCain wanted to do something to "push the envelope" and detract from all the attention Obama is receiving.  That's all.

  2. He had a team that vetted her first... that's called delegation. There's nothing scary about this choice... except maybe to the Democrats. Palin is a strong leader and an excellent pick. Maybe YOU need to learn more about her.

  3. No more scary than the extremist and inexperienced Obama as our president.

  4. His judgement is ENHANCED by his advanced age.

  5. If she did become President you would hope there would be enough quallified people around to get us by. The only trouble with that logic is I thought the same about GWB and what a mistake that was. Terrible judgement for personal gain.

  6. We ask this of the Democrats about Obama.

  7. Someone told him to pick her.  McCain was using his judgment when he first started campaigning and he was losing miserably.  He changed his Straight Talk Express tactics when he started listening to the people like Karl Rove.  The Republicans didn't like McCain.  He couldn't raise a nickel for his campaign.  When he became a puppet for them things changed.  Now he says what they want him to say and he does what they want him to do.  He is not in control. (Kinda' reminds me of Bush.)

It really scares me.  She may be great for Alaska's governor's mansion, but I don't she's ready for America's White House.

Besides, I'm not in line with many of her views.

  8. with age comes wisdom.

    look at the democrat nominee,,,

democrats couldn't be LESS informed about THEIR candidate.

here are some facts about the dem.candidate,,,

Nobama,,113 days as U.S. senator before running for president

most liberal voting record in congress

    least experienced

close connections to racist,anti-American crooks and thugs

changed his name from Barry Soetoro to Barack Nobama

has family living well below the poverty line in Kenya

Nobama is a very poor choice to be the dem candidate when the Hildabeast actually won popular vote and the delegates now that they have counted Mich. and Fla.

  9. I smell fear oozing off of you! yep, can tell you even peed your paints when you realized Obamas going to fail!

  10. It is scary to think that you feel "This POOR woman would be the commander in chief". There are many women who are ready to lead. She has made some concrete decisions. I don't always agree with her but at least she is a straight shooter. Also just because McCain is in his 70's does not mean he has dementia. Dementia is not a normal process of aging. It is a disease that unfortunately many elderly have to live with not a prejudice word we use to put elderly in their place.
