McCain's decision to pick Palin, I love it.. What about you?

She is a very charming woman who has great beliefs and is a strong woman. This definitely should help McCain shake off the "Bush-mold" that everyone was saying he would be if elected.

The Democrats probably made a big mistake by not picking Hillary as their VP. She had 18 million die-hard supporters who loved her, and many of them are refusing to vote for Obama. I think Palin will definitely sway a lot of them and a lot of women in general to the Republican ticket. She has a son who is going to Iraq and a son with Down Syndrome.

People are shocked, but once they find out about her, I think most people will love her.

And how can the Democrats say she lacks experience, when their PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE is only 3 years older than she is. That's pretty hypocritical.

I'm just happy to see a potential female VP!

  1. I loved her as soon as I heard that she was a lifetime member of the NRA. In fact, I was so excited when I heard the news of Palin's VP nod that I contributed some money to the McCain campaign this morning.

  2. Senator McCain made a wiser choice than some people will want to admit.

Watch how the energy debate goes now.

  3. I am so excited with his pick!  This proves to me that McCain has extremely good judgement.  Unlike Obama who threw Hillary under the bus!

  4. I LOVE this choice.  A masterful decision that showcases a strong, independent, yet traditional woman.  Sarah Palin has strong moral values that may or may not be rooted in religion (it may just be good, common decency and judgment).  She is a rock.

Edit:  Lol @ Ted....like Obama should be "at this level" of politics.  LOLOLOLOL!

  5. She is a great choice. I have to know more about her, but first impression tells me that she would be a great President some day.

  6. I love it too!  It should work great for Obama!

In their wildest dreams I'm guessing the Obama campaign couldn't imageine that McCain would choose a small-town mayor with even less experience than Obama as his VP!

  7. I don't know you but I suspect that you are more happy that she is a woman than anything else. I follow politics pretty closely. I don't mean the election process. The election process is really not much more than a Grand Soap Opera. I have listened to a lot of woman on the National Stage. Some of them are really great. Some of them are complete idiots. I have to say that I know of this woman but I really do not know much about her. We shall see.

  8. No I don't like it. Palin is NOT Hillary. Why should I jump for joy? Just because she is a woman? I need more reason than that to make me vote for McCain.

  9. Stupid Move.

There are more qualified people out there.  Romney, Pawlenty, Rice?

She doesn't bring anything to the table.  Maybe for a cabinet choice, or another position, but there were far better choices out there.  He threw his best argument away.

It will make headlines in August, but will be stupid in October.

  10. Keep going to school, you obviously have a lot to learn.

  11. Palin is a great pick for SOOO many reasons!  she is really smart when it comes to energy too!  Spread the word, let's get McCain/Palin in the white house.

  12. I think it's great, and I applaud the Democrats for forcing the hand of the gop to reach so far outside their myopic boundaries and choose a woman for vp candidate.

I think a lot of republican men will have a hard time voting for her...

  13. I think he has made the perfect choice in Palin.

  14. I bet I love it more than you.  He just handed the Presidency to Obama.

Gosh I love that man.  Thanks McCain.  You did our country a great sevice today.

  15. Picking an inexperienced VP is a wise choice? How is that good?

  16. I really think it was a smart move.

It will get the attention of more Christians, women, the people who wanted Hillary now have another option to consider, and I think it would be great for the country to have a female VP before a female Pres.

I am very happy today! lol

I also think its better to have a Catholic/Pentecostal than an ex-muslim/? catholic?

we need some morals in this country.

  17. Obama made a perfect choice in VP. Do you know how hard a sell a black guy/white woman ticket would have been? He needed somebody older, whiter, and with a rock-solid Congressional record, and he got that with Biden.

McCain picking someone half his age and female looks like he's just desperate to be hip.

  18. palin has no experience

    ha  !  ha !

Now Obama has way more experience then her.

mcCain is messing up the party

  19. She's awesome and a GREAT choice.  He couldn't have done any better.  Anyone who says something negative about her, obviously doesn't know anything about her.

  20. she's fine by me, McCain has one foot in the grave already, so even if he does win , its not becasue the people want him, they want her, yeah, that's a real food choice there

  21. I think it was a great choice.

    1.  It was so shocking that NO ONE was talking about Obama or his speech from last night.  (Thank God because I'm so sick of hearing about him)

    2.  She has great integrity and will definitely help McCain win over some female voters.  McCain didn't need to pick Romney because he is just another rich white guy, and Democrats would've continued to say McCain is too rich to understand what the "average American" goes through.

  22. I think that McCain's decision is great!

Sarah Palin has actually fought corruption in her own party. She's a REAL reformer, unlike Obama who just rants on about change, but not really having any resume to back it up.

  23. I am very happy about it !

  24. It breaks up Obama's image of "old white washington" and he dems are FREAKING out.

  25. It’s fantastic she has less experience than Obama and is on the ticket for superficial (rock Star) appearance only. this will truly show McCain for the hypocrite he is.

  26. I absolutely love it. I'm sure I love it for different reason from you though.

This is like CHRISTMAS for Obama supporters.

  27. It doesn't make me change my position.  I'm a female, and I admire Hillary, and you can't compare Hillary with Palin!!!!  It's almost like an insult for Hillary.

Hillary is a Pro-choice, and Palin is not, etc, etc, etc.

    Hillary supporters voting for OBAMA!!!!

  28. Welllll..we now know that McCain is obviously dumb..he should've picked someone like mitt romney! i dont even know who this chic is. Im not a great fan of republicans..but as a person from Massachusetts, I have to say that Mitt's done an excellent job here. He's obviously doing it to show that Obama should've chosen a "woman" ...

I bet she's going to have the next affair with McCain. Cindy's not that attractive, I would obviously cheat on her...lol! If only i was McCain.

  29. As I told some coworkers a bit ago, this will either be one of the best political decisions (strategically speaking) of the 21st century or a horrible miscalculation.  Personally, I think he made a fairly good decision knowing what we currently do about her.  She might lack the international experience that Biden has, but for someone who doesn't constantly talk about making changes in the way government does business she sure does have an excellent record of actually doing it.  Can the same be said for Obama...?

  30. I don't like it. The VP should be absolutely qualified to be President if their running mate dies. I don't think Palin's 1.5 years as governor of a very small state qualifies her for that kind of power. We know nothing about her foreign policy judgment or how she handles pressure.

Her life story is great, but she shouldn't be at this level of politics yet.

  31. Age doesn't equate to experience, little lady...but someday you'll grow up to realize that.
