With a prompt response for public safety and welfare, curtailing the Republican convention clearly demonstrates how caring Palin and McCain are. It sounds silly to portray them as "4 more years" of prior Bush shortcomings.

Obama-Biden and Democrats have shot themselves in the foot with

that rhetoric. If anything they've forced the current campaign to blow

that argument out of the water.

  1. It sounds like someone campaigning for President.  Where are all the why questions like when Obama went to the Middle East?  Are we being hypocritical?

    Having said this, I think it is very good that McCain has learned at least ONE thing from Bush's mistakes in Katrina and the last eight years.


  2. Leadership can often be a learning curve. Look at the safeguards and

    response plans we now have in place for Homeland Security as well

    as natural disasters that hadn't been thought of 8 years ago.

    There hadn't been impetus to develop them then.
