All the female supporters got lost when Obama picked Biden (the crybaby) and not Hillary. So where do the feminists vote?

McCain has scooped them up.

Plus, Palin is hott, so she will get the Studs-of-America vote.

Obama hasn't got a chance.

  1. Keep dreaming

Think about it a 2 year Gov with small town mayoral experience a heart attack (literally in McCain's case) away from the top job in the world

    NOT

  2. Palin is totally perfect for a VP position and im REALLY coming around to John McCain

This combinination makes bush look horrible I think there going to stomp obama for sure since bush won last time and mccain an palin look a lot better

  3. Palin = The last nail in the Obama campaign coffin.

  4. I totally agree.

  5. I halve to admit it caught me off guard but after looking on her qualifications I think McCain pulled a brilliant strategy and I will list them.

She is a women which will broaden his appeal to women voters

She is a staunch conservative which will appeal to conservatives

She has no foreign policy experience but neither does Obama she will have 4 years to gain that experience

McCain will not run for a second term she can be groom to be the first women president of the US

This is a win win situation the democrats can't be pleased.

  6. I'm undecided voter

Although McCain and Palin ticket I find it very exciting.

  7. Absolutly Brilliant! I am excited about this election for the first time! She is awesome! She is conservative, Republican, and a strong confident women.  I am very, very pleased!

  8. No   Hillary  supporters  won't  fall  for  McBush's  tricks. She  is  not  Hillary, and  will  never  be.Looks  like  McBush  is  scared.

  9. Absolutely. McCain will bring hottness into the Whitehouse. I was going to vote for Paris Hilton. But now it's McCain and the MILF squad that will get my support.

    You ROCK white haired dude!

  10. Does anyone know who this ladies husband works for?? He works for Big Oil!! Thats all we need.

Mabey if he would have choosen someone diffrent he might of had a chance to win. I don't see how he can possibly win now.

Our pain at the pump is money in this ladies pocket.

If you think that this lady is hot, man you got bad taste.

  11. Don't know about her being hott, lol, but shes young and fresh. In the future we could see the first FEMALE REPUBLICAN president, HOW COOL IS THAT! Brilliant yes!

  12. I agree. A great choice for McCain. He shores up his support with conservatives and also reaches out to female voters with Palin. A brilliant move.

  13. I feel like Chris Mathews, she sends a chill up my leg (well I guess it is different in my case, since I'm a guy and she is a woman).

I would like to see her go against Obama joe Biden in a game of one-on-one (she was on an actual basketball team), I bet she would win.

In my mind, a mayor and governor does a lot more than a "community activist" and senator with the same number of years experience - She has actually run something for a living! She also went after a corrupt member of her own party (usually political suicide) and won, that's the kind of community activist I want. And she isn't too bad looking either. And I bet she probably knows the difference between a battalion and brigade.

  14. Dream on, darlin'. Republicrats won't elect McCain - they don't want a woman, especially an inexperienced woman - in the White House. They'll sit out and the Democrats will win! YEAHHHH!!!

    It's about d**n time! Obama/Biden 2008!!!

  15. This was a great choice. She has ran a State as long as Obama has been in the Senate (not authoring legislation). She is a lot like McCain with more of a conservative edge, which pleases the neo-con side of the party. And she is HOT!!!!!!!! Old/s**y 08

  16. I still will not vote for McCain. However, she is such a hottie and seems to be infinitely more intelligent then Dan Quayle ever was. (What a douchebag! Potatoe!)

  17. People just needs to look at the party and what they stand for.  What are they doing for our country and what will they do to our country.  Also, What have the R party done for our country in the last 8 years.  What has the D party done for our country when Clinton was president.  My choice would be for the D party.  As a country we just can't take another 4 years of what has been happening.  United States is going down the tube quick with the R party.  We need a change....

  18. Desperate.

Do you think that Ms. Palin is ready to be President (she could be in as little as 6 months)?

Most of us have never heard of her before.

If he meant her as a replacement for Hillary, I think it will backfire.

  19. Nope.

"Palin is hott" doesn't make her a good leader.  One year of "experience" in a state where no people live makes her a scary choice.

Feminists vote for people who agree with their issues.  Not gun toting, pro-lifers.

She doesn't have a shred of the resume that Hillary has.  McCain is pandering again and it won't work.

  20.   You're right. He's just spiked Obama's guns by choosing a women. The fact that she's a conservative and seen as a maverick won't hurt either.

  21. Yes, but her views are more anti-feminist than McCain's.  I did think it was a bold move and am pretty impressed that McCain did it though.

I do agree on the hottness part; someone told me today she looks a little like me.

  22. Anyone that votes a ticket just based on a persons gender(Palin) or a persons race(Obama) is a complete fool. I think anyone can see why McCain came up with his choice but people better think this one out.If something happens to John McCain is she qualified to act as the leader of our nation?Given her prior experience as a mayor and a short term as governor, sorry but i don't think so.

  23. Classic republican who think women are stupid.

  24. He made a great choice. I can actually relate to this woman, she's hardworking and came from a tough middle class family who had to work as teachers to pay bills.

  25. Yes.  It will insure a Democratic victory.  No feminists will vote for her because her political stances are exactly opposite to Hillary's. Other women will just feel insulted by this obvious pandering.

Edit:  I can't wait to hear what NOW has to say about it.  You can't really think that any feminists are going to vote for Palin! Just how delusional are you Republicans?

  26. This pick was so brilliant, i cant even comment on it thats how brilliant it is

  27. I agree.

However, I still think Obama has a great chance; we don't vote for vice-president but for president and there are some delusional people who actually think Obama has something to offer.

I was already a McCain supporter and his Palin pick just reaffirms my vote for him. He couldn't have made a better choice.

  28. Well if superficial and lame brained analysis rules the day, then Palin is a good pick.

But, I think it is a rather cynical one myself.  She doesn't bring anything to the table other than being a woman.  I did think that choosing a woman would be a good move by McCain, but thought that he would pick someone like Condi Rice or Kay Bailey Hutchinson or Christie Whitman.  Just putting a woman on the ticket ain't gonna grab the feminist vote, because Palin is anti-choice and an ideological conservative.  Biden will also decimate her in the debate.  What is she gonna say, well Joe, I saw the Candian border once, so I know about foreign affairs?  She also takes the experience issue off the table for McCain, because she has been governor of the state for about 2 years and before that mayor of Tiny Town.  McCain can't be raggin' on Obama's lack of experience without sounding pretty hypocritical.

  29. Wow I was shocked when I saw her! She is HOT! And she just had a baby in April so I'm guessing she is still a little postpartum and that's exactly what this county needs to whip its sorry @ss into shape!

Great strategic move on McCain's part!

Leave It To Another Country To Choose Our President!

    Category: News and Politics

I don't care who you are or who you are voting for, this just makes sense!!

Leave it to the Irish to cut through the c**p and make the whole issue crystal clear...

Thoughts from across the pond - an email from Ireland to the brethren in the States...a point to ponder despite your political affiliation:

'We, in Ireland, can't figure out why people are even bothering to hold an election in the United States this year.  On one side, you have a pants wearing woman lawyer, married to a lawyer who can't keep his pants on, who just lost a long and heated primary that they still haven't paid for yet, against a lawyer who states he is 'black' when it is documented that he is only 12% 'black', who goes to the wrong church, who has stated that he wants his countrymen to learn to speak Spanish rather than English, who refuses to put his hand over his heart and say the pledge of allegiance or wear the flag of the country he wants to run, who can't remember if there are 50 or 57 states in his own country, who is married to yet another lawyer who doesn't even like the country her husband wants to run.

Now...On the other side, you have a nice old war hero whose name starts with the appropriate 'Mc', married to a good looking younger woman who owns a beer distributorship.

What in Lord's name are ye lads thinking over there in the colonies??

  30. Funny!

Palin takes the experience issue off the table - actually the Obama campaign can now hit McCain over the head with it since Palin obviously has zero national or foreign policy experience.  Do we want HER answering that 3am phone call?

Religious nuts won't like her because secretly they don't want women to have power.

Conservatives won't like her because let's face it, they'll be pissed that McCain passed over about 10,000 better qualified and better-known conservatives from places of power even bigger than Wasilla, AK!

Women won't like her because she's the opposite of Hillary in every way except gender: conservative, staunchly pro-life, inexperienced and undeserving.

About the only constituency I can think of that might like her would be Alaskans!

  31. Very much so!  Picking a conservative woman grabs at least one quarter to one third of Obama's support base.
