In the Long term, Iraq as a single, 'sovereign', Autonomous Nation. Iraq is structure much like Canada in many ways (well, Canada is the best country on Earth - but let's put that aside for a sec).
Iraq has Kurds, Sunnis and Shiite. The Kurds (Kurdish people) aren't Arabs and live in the north of Iraq where they have enough oil to make a pretty penny. The Shiite are much like Protestants, religiously speaking, they are a small sect of the larger religion. Thus bringing us to Sunnis - Most Muslims are Sunnis and the Sunnis in Iraq control the desert part that can't be cultivated with little or no oil in the Sunni part of Iraq. Saddam was a Sunni and gave everything to the Sunnis and financially suppress the Shiites. So, If you were to break up Iraq into three nations The Sunnis would get nothing. So, Basically, what will happen is when America leaves Iraq, it will be stable for a 'HoneyMoon Period'. The multiple factions don't wish to work unilaterally so the government will crumble. Unlike Canada they can't get the different parts to become one nation (English and French Speaking - All Canadians).
Iraq will become a mixture of 3 separate Countries and the Sunnis will fight for some oil.
Or, sadly, a Dictator will Rise and control the whole country with an iron fist - basically another Jerk like the jerk Saddam.
As a Patriotic, Democracy loving, Canadian I would love to see Democracy implemented in Iraq but this Propaganda of "Winning in Iraq" is just an applause line. "Victory/Stability" In Iraq will only last a short while, sadly.
Wake up friends, Iraq is a disaster and so many lovely Americans and innocent Iraqis have died. SO SAD... Thinking of those brave Americans.... makes me cry.
Brayden. 15. London.
Before you dismiss me as a Canadian think about it I think I have explain it alright. True - Simplified but that is the basic idea - McCain Can't fix Iraq, no one can.
McCain Can't "Win" in Iraq - Why can't the American People see this?
