  1. No, he wants to leave in place the 2001 & 2003 tax cuts. I would be fine with that if he were though.

I would perfer the FairTax. A 23% inclusive retail sales tax on everything sold in the nation. A prebate is issued to every house that refunds the taxes on poverty level spending ($700-$2000 a month). That would bring back $13 trillion in overseas business and bring lots of jobs. You think people break into our country now, wait until our unemployment rate is.2%.

  2. It is the belief of the republican party that tax breaks for the wealthy will help create jobs, and it used to be like that, but isn't like that any longer.  So, what does that say about McCain?  It says that he favors the rich and disregards the middle-and lower classes---no wonder he wants to do that, his wife is worth six million dollars right now....

  3. not good. i am a 2 million guy.

  4. I think there should be flat tax for everyone and a 15% -  17% tax rate is not unreasonable. At the present time a person making $3,000,000.00 a year is paying approximately 50% in taxes whereas a person making $50,000.00 a year is paying only about $15% in taxes. I think a tax cut for the former is not unfair under those circumstances.

I live in a state with a state sales tax,  a fixed percentage for all, and no state income tax. So in essence we have a fixed rate for non-food items. I don't have a problem with that.

  5. Typical republicants.  My only hope is winning the lottery.

  6. I Think I better ask for a h**l of a raise

  7. Republicans at-least those at the top believe in the trickle down economy Ronald Regan coined this term. If you flood the top tax brackets with money it causes investment in businesses and hires more people to work these businesses. This system puts extra pressure on the middle class because they are the ones paying a disproportionate amount of the taxes. The poor get a real hit though because as the prices go up people on fixed incomes, public assistance, and working poor are wondering what they will need to scrape by on what little money they have.

  8. i dink it bull shiet.
