McCain and Obama questions?

McCain question: Is McCain's suspension of the Republican National Convention just a smokescreen for the fact that he wasn't ready for it?

Obama question: What is the net effect of Palin on his polling numbers?

It seems there would be a lot of people added and subtracted based on Palin but I am not sure the net effect.

  1. I think is more than ready, but after GW's stellar handling of Katrina they had to put things on hold.  Obama was under no such handicap so he went on campaigning.

Polling numbers are meaningless, the count in Nov 4 is what counts.

Pregnant daughter included Palin is a plus.  Americans are sick of the political elite and want something anything that doesn't reek of business as usual.  Obama has done a brilliant job of tapping into this.  Palin is McCain's response.

Now will this be enough to win the election, we'll see.   One thing is for sure, nominating Palin threw the whole thing into turmoil.  I think McCain wanted that.

  2. 3 year ago you complained the republicans didn't do anything to help new orleans, now you think its a smoke screen? Shows that liberals really don't care about anything but them selves
